Mopars Unlimited of Tacoma
Our goal is to promote the restoration and preservation of vehicles produced by Chrysler Corporation. Four or five people came up with the original Mopars Unlimited idea while sitting around the kitchen table about thirty five years ago. We adopted it approximately fifteen years ago and incorporated it in the state of Washington. The club chapter holds monthly meetings, family-oriented activities such as picnics, bowling, etc. We also have cruises at local drive-ins and car caravans to shows in the area. A popular event is our annual Christmas party, and since we are a non-profit organization, we give to local charities and colleges in the area. Of course, our biggest activity is our annual "Sunbust" car show in August.

; "The Tacoma Narrows Bridge is a pair of twin suspension bridges that span the Tacoma Narrows strait of Puget Sound in Pierce County, Washington. The bridges connect the city of Tacoma with the Kitsap Peninsula and carry State Route 16 over the strait.

; "The Tacoma Dome opened on April 21, 1983. It is the world's largest arena with a wooden dome in terms of total volume and seating capacity (23,000), with a diameter of 530 feet (160 m) and a height of 152 feet (46 m). The arena hosted the Seattle SuperSonics from 1994-1995 while the Seattle Center Coliseum was being renovated into the venue now known as KeyArena as well as various regular season Sonics games during other seasons.
The Dome also hosted the Tacoma Rockets Western Hockey League team from 1991 to 1995, the Tacoma Sabercats of the West Coast Hockey League from 1997 to 2002, The Tacoma Stars indoor soccer team of the MISL from 1983 to 1992, gymnastics and figure skating events during the 1990 Goodwill Games, numerous other minor league ice hockey and indoor soccer teams. The Dome also hosted the NCAA Women's Final Four in back to back years (1989-1990).
